SOTERA Biography
Language: EnglishDj Sotera was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil on November, 21 1982.
Salvador is the “first capital of Brazil” and is well known around the world for its fabulous musical culture.
Dj Sotera began his career in Salvador as a recording engineer in 1998 where he had accomplished live recordings session for local musicians and bands, he also performed as a radio DJ in many radio stations across the city. Living in the USA since 2001, Sotera has become a positive influence in electronic music business with a couple of productions and partnerships with some of big names of Brazilian hip-hop and dance hall. He produced an Orlando Vibes CD with rapper and Producer Atomico MC from Joao Pessoa- PB, Brazil.
In Orlando and other cities across US, he has played in many nightclubs such as: Glo Night Club, Club Passion, COPACABANA, Club Tabu, Club RUSH, BELIZE, and EURO CLUB etc.
It’s all about electronic music and always has been. That’s why DJ Sotera qualifies as a important DJ for the growth and wealth of electronic music. With a DJ set that goes from house to psy trance Sotera can make the night feel like no other and no matter if is 8:00am or 11:59pm he always will be mixing for the crowd and not for himself.
