SIR OLIVER Biography
Sir Oliver was born on June 6th 1974 in Hanover/Germany, but very soon he and his mother moved over to Luxembourg. He began as DJ for weddings and anniversaries, before he started in 2000 his professional DJ Career. He first created a major event in Luxembourg-City, “The Afterwork” @ the Full Monty/Kirchberg. A year later he became the resident-DJ at Palm Beach in the South of Luxembourg. After stopping the “Afterwork” in November 2002, he chose in 2003 the oldest disco in Luxembourg to be his Friday-residence-place, the “New Oldie”. From 2004 to 2005 the “Dancing Club Jester”, Luxembourg’s biggest club in Foetz, asked him to be the Saturday-Night-Resident. From April 2004 to July 2006 he was the producer of his own Radio-Show on Luxembourg’s second national radio station, the DNR. Indeed his “DNR Late Night by DJ Sir Oliver” became one of the most important radio shows concerning nightlife in Luxembourg. International Acts from Simple Minds to Bob Sinclar or Benny Benassi have been the guests of his show. In 2005 he became the Resident-DJ of Luxemburgs biggest Club in the North, the “Tivoli”. 2006 he started to open the gigs for artists like Global Deejays, DJ Cutkiller or DJ Abdel. And beneath his residences he played in places like the “VIP-Room Deluxe”, the “Whaam” or the “Folli”.
