SIMON PITT Biography
First listening to Acid House/Rave music around 1991 through various tape packs like Helter Skelter and Dreamscape, Simon always had a fascination with electronic music and gained interest in it and its emerging genres through the 90s. Enter 1997 and Simon starts collecting records and grabbing every chance he can get to get his hands on decks, the next 4 years are spent mixing tapes, collecting records and finding his own sound whilst being influenced by the raves he attended religiously each week. Simon was given his first set in 2001 at UK Superclub Dance Academy, Building a reputation with his own style of turntablism, his ability to read the crowd and his energetic stage presence meant it would not be long before Simon was a regular feature in the main room and later resident playing on tours from Mixmag, Serious, Lashed, Goodgreef and more alongside some of the biggest names of the era. Between 2003 and 2004 Simon would go on to co-create and run club nights Premonition and later his own brand Eternal. Finally 2005 gives birth to his biggest venture yet Electra, which becomes his own Artist Management, Record Label and Promotions Company managing some of the Worlds best producers and DJs including Fred Baker, Danjo & Styles, Joop and many more.
