ROSS & SPASSOTO Biography
Rosen Ivanov (DJ Ross) & Spas Petrov (DJ Spassoto) start working together at the beginning of 2007. They’re both captivated by progressive house music and it seems that they have a gift for back-to-back playing . At first they start playing music at private parties in their hometown Varna and before long the combination of their talent and all the support from their friends eventually proves to be successful. The clubbing society in Varna start to fancy the duo Ross & Spassoto, never fail to recognize their unique dj style and don’t allow themselves to miss any of the DJ’s appearances. Countless invitations from clubs all over the country soon follow. At the beginning of 2009 they release their first production as a remix of the track “Together” , which includes a part of the United States president Barack Obama’s speech taken from his Oath of Office. The remix of Ross & Spassoto plays exclusively on Alpha radio and very soon takes first place on the “Alpha Top 40” tracklist, where it stays on top for 5 weeks. At the yearly “Alpha radio top 40” tracklist, “Together” takes the number 1 spot with 486 playings and it wins the prize “Alpha-hit 2009”. The party radio of Bulgaria and the best dance radio in South East Europe, Alpha radio doesn’t miss the talent of both DJs and after their successful remix production they’ve been invited to the promotional Alpha Underground parties, events which are held every month in different clubs and open-air parties (in the summer). Ross & Spassoto are the main guests in the summer open-air events Alpha Underground July Morning Party 2009 and Alpha Underground Full Moon Party, which have been visited by more than 6000 dance-maniacs from all parts of Bulgaria. The idols of the party crowd have their own radio show on Alpha radio every Sunday at 14h. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Росен Иванов (DJ Ross) и Спас Петров (DJ Spassoto) започват да работят заедно в началото на 2007 –ма, завладени от прогресив-хаус звученето. Тъй като работата на принципа back-to-back зад пулта им се удава с лекота, те бързо постигат сработването, което днес изглежда толкова естествено по време на гиговете им.
Първите им участия са на различни частни партита в родната им Варна като, логично, скоро след това комбинацията от таланта им и подкрепата на техните приятели дава резултат. Клубните среди в морската столица на България са запленени от тандема Ross & Spassoto, разпознават безпогрешно стила им и не пропускат изявите им в най-популярните клубове в града. Не закъсняват и покани от клубове в цяла България.
Паралелно с развитието им като DJ, Ross & Spassoto създават собствена музикална продукция – в началото на 2009 г. двамата диджеи представят ремикса си на Together, в който е използвана част от речта на новоизбрания по това време американски президент Барак Обама, произнесена при встъпването му в длъжност.
Ремиксът на Ross & Spassoto се завърта ексклузивно по Алфа радио и скоро превзема първото място в седмичната класация Алфа Топ 40, където остава 5 седмици на върха. В годишната класация Aлфа Toп 40 пък, Together заема първото място с 486 излъчвания и е обявено за Алфа-хит на 2009.
През 2010-та дуото има изключително успешни изяви на две Metropolis партита – в София и в Приморско, като междувременно Аndrez & Double D ги избират за Official Open Act DJs по време на резиденциите на We Are Not Angels – партитата в Dance Club MANIA.
Ross & Spassoto имат и собствено радиошоу, което се излъчва по Алфа радио всяка неделя от 2 следобед. | read more
