REGI Biography
Regi is a dj/media phenomenon in Belgium. Of his first solo album ‘Registrated’ he has sold 30.000 copies in 2007/2008 – this means platinum in this territory.
With his dance live band ‘Milk Inc.’, year by year he sells out the biggest Belgian concert venue ‘Sportpaleis’, 6 times in a row.(in total 100.000 people)
As a solo dj he has his yearly very own ‘Regi In The Mix’ stadium-concert for more then 20.000 people, where he heavilly uses the Pioneer DVJ system, incorporating images and sound.
He also has a TV show called ’Regi’s World’, and of his dj mix series cds he sells approx. 20k of every unit.
Last summer(2009) he and his band Milk Inc. headlined the Rock Werchter Festival together with Metallica. Consider this a revolution in the Belgian music business.
With his electronic music and a wide range of mainly known alternative Belgian vocalists, he succeeded in making a bridge between the commercial and the alternative scene.
As a composer/producer he has made tracks for a number of other artists, one of wich is the band Sylver.
