P. SCHOCK Biography
P.Schock is the founder and A&R of Spontaneous Aerobics. His musical career started in 1989 when he was Djing in a youth club in Bremen /Germany. In this time he played mainly Punk, Ska and Hip Hop, but also the first Acid House releases which found their way from England to Germany. After a break where he started to get deeper into Electronic music he visited some psychedelic trance parties and got infected. In these times, 1992 / 1993 he was mainly playing Rave, Hardcore and Gabber. After the first experiences on psychedelic trance parties – the fresh sounds caught him right away and he changed his sound to this style. After a short time of Djing at small underground parties he became more and more known and played at big events as well, as at small underground parties. He played successfully in Germany, Denmark, England, Israel, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, Slovakia and more, just to name a few. In the years between 1994 – 1999 he was working for EFA Medien , a very important distribution which takes care of labels like Spirit Zone, Koyote, Transient, Twisted, Blue Room and more and was resident DJ in various clubs around the Hamburg area in Germany. In 2000 he moved to Munich and started the record label Spontaneous Aerobics together with his friend DJ Ali.3n. He starts his work for Cosmophilia Media one of the biggest distributions for Psychedelic Trance worldwide, and started his first tries as producer and composer as well as he continued to play at parties. His style can be described a dark and powerful – an energetic fusion of Full On Night stuff and Progressive Trance. Cause of his work for Cosmophilia he was discovering also different styles like tech-house and electro but he was mainly booked for the night time and this is the style he prefers to play (cause he just love it.), but he is always exploring into new sounds & styles and is open-minded for any other style of quality. | read more
