MISS MINE Biography
Language: EnglishEverything started in January 2003 through a friend of Jasmin Bauer aka. MiSS MiNe (pronounced „min") at the young age of 16. Hit by his Dj Activities, she got curious and finally everything became serious.
In the same year (Autumn 2003), she used the chance to proof her skills at a Dj Contest in the discotheque „Brooklyn" (Horn, Austria). She was the only woman in that contest, and she hit the first place togehter with an other challenger. The big price was a record production in Vienna. From this offspring came her first vinylrecord „MiSS MiNe – Encore" (Hardtrance).
Since childhood, she always followed the trends in the charts and this influenced her taste in music. Artists like Enigma, Urban Cookie Collective, Snap!, RMB, Culture Beat and many others have changed her music taste in the earlier years. Nowadays, Hardstyle and Hardtrance describe the style of MiSS MiNe. Catchy melodies and tribin’ basslines are the main characteristics in her livesets.
The next single „MiSS MiNe – Insanity" followed in Autumn 2005. which was released under the german label „Fakten Records" with Dj Warmduscher (owner of „Fakten Records").
At that time, a monthly event was created called „Druckwelle" at the discotheque „Brooklyn". At that events, MiSS MiNe played with 2 other Resident Djs classic und current tracks from Hardtrance to Techno till’ May 2006. The sound at that events were different than in other discotheques in Austria.
Also in the year 2006, the bookings started and the name „MiSS MiNe" became more and more known to other people. The most known events were the „Unite Parade" and the „Donauinselfest" in Austria, and also „Rave the place" and „Battle of the Giants" in Germany. Also, she played with people like Alpha Twins, Lady Tom, Mirko Milano, A*S*Y*S, Dj Slideout, Kai Jaxx, Jens O., Luca Antolini, Dave Joy, Warmduscher, Nightbass Dj Team, Philippe Rochard, Raf Enjoy, Flower 2K and many more.
Now, in 2008 her third release “Miss Mine & Hardbazz Warrior – Free Your Mind” (Hardbazz Factory) will follow. Due to the last two years, she proved that she is not a “One-Hit-Wonder” for sure. With passion for the music and with strengh she can look back to many references in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Nowadays, she is one of the most wanted deejanes in Austria, which specializes in Hardstyle and Trance.
„Without targets, you never know, what you could have done!" Behind these words of MiSS MiNe, there is nothing else but the truth. Life’s too short to step away from acceleration.
