Language: EnglishAlways hard at work, the dj, producer and graphic designer Medley is everywhere and consistently sick with it. Over the years he has held down residencies at Toronto’s coolest clubs and created some of the most talked about Toronto club nights. In 2008, Medley and the notorious promoters “The Jons” built one of Toronto’s busiest Electro based weekly parties; “Dance Like You Fuck” Thursdays at Strange Love. They have been steadily over capacity every week for over a year and a half. Often secretly featuring huge, international deejays/artsits. Medley is the resident Dj and graphic designer.
His other current residencies inlcude “Big City Nights” and “Escape From Toronto” also boast an impressive following. He has headlined all of Toronto’s dopest nights: Circa’s Randomland Fridays, Wrongbar’s Saturdays, Tattoo’s Timebomb Tuesdays, Monday Night Meetings at The Social, Rockwood’s Mashup Mondays, Loby’s Boutique Wednesdays, Revival’s Hello Saturdays, and many many more.
Medley’s live dj sets are always overflowing with huge builds of energy, heavy mixing, creative use of looping and effects to remix live and on the fly . Medley’s mixtapes are always epic masterpieces of mixing, intensely layering song into song, not going a minute without a mix, they’re more like hour long mashups/medleys than mixtapes. Filled with his own original re-edits, blends and remixes. His production arsenal of originals, remixes, mashups, re-edits have been spread all over the blogosphere’s hottest sites. His selection is always the freshest of the fresh, usually vocal driven electro, house, hip hop and his mixing, next level.
