dj mansur, is the personification of all that’s cool without being over the top and all that’s classy without being ostentatious! If you are looking for unforgettable music and scintillating sounds he’s just the man for you! His indefatigable spirit to constantly discover new and enthralling music for his listeners, coupled with his vibrant energy and an enviable ear for first-rate music, have ensured that the force of this passion of his life is conveyed to one and all. His work has also been aired on FM stations across Dubai ,Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Some of his originals have been included in the compiled albums of Clubs all over. What’s more, he has the knack of being able to play any instrument that comes across his path and is open to diverse sounds.
DJ Mansur, the name sounds familiar in the music scene of Eastern India. Currently, the resident DJ of Friends of Shiva and ABP LTD. It all started in 2000 under the guidance of DJ Amar. Had been a dedicated Club DJ at Hojo’s disco, Howard Johnson Hotel, Dubai. Was back in India in 2003, with love and affection of the music lovers of the City of Joy, has grown to be a leading DJ of Kolkata. He is the only preferred inhouse DJ for “Friends of Shiva”, “Real Reel Pvt. Ltd.” He also features on the official website of the Bengal Film Journalist Association Awards as the Production Crew. Been there seen all, DJ Mansur has been in workshop with the likes of DJ Sam Zaman and Nutek’s . He had the privilege of jamming with Shivamani, the maestro drummer a number of times. Currently, he is sweating it out for his First Remix Album release and running two dj workshops,and is playing across the length and breadth of India & Abroad.
