KOPCHO Biography
KOPCHO has recently moved to the International scene and has already played gigs in Barcelona Spain and Istanbul Turkey. He recently has chosen Istanbul Turkey as his base location. He is ready to showcase his skills to the International scene and has already began being noticed with his “Unique” House Sound. KOPCHO was drawn into electronic dance music for the love of bass beats and the energy of the crowd from his underground & club days that date back to the 90’s in Seattle. Becoming a DJ came forth after his passion for music became an obsession. Starting off doing after-parties at his house, where night after night, his living room would overflow with friends listening to the banging electro funky house beats; his house parties would soon become famous to where the likes of world-class DJ’s such as Donald Glaude and Steve Porter would come over to spin into the early hours of the morning. He finally decided to take his passion to the masses and started doing small clubs and underground parties; he was quickly noticed and booked for gigs that allowed his skills to be heard by the entire world when he spun for the Techno.FM anniversary party with DJ James Diamond. Spundae had even taken notice of this up-n-comer, and booked him to spin at one of the Aqua Pool parties, of which he was quickly asked to return. He then got a residency at the Bacchus House for early morning after-hours, when his house could no longer handle his growing following of fans. He has even made the Top 100 DJs of San Diego on The DJ List, of which he explains that he is making a name for himself by his loyalty and respect of music and that of the crowd that always wants to hear more from him. He thanks his influences Donald Glaude and DJ Theron, who have encouraged him to share his skills behind the decks and keep the crowd hooked on the newest, hottest beats.
