KNYKN Biography
A DJ. DJKnyKn (pronounced DJ Kenny Ken) grew up learning about the different styles and genres of MUSIC from being raised in a family that has generations of performers (musicians) and dancers, Kenny grew up listening to Traditional/Folk styles and genres of his Cultures Music. From that DJKnyKn always had ears for the many different styles and genres of music and learned to love and understand what the meaning of what Music is intended to be. Kenny always had the PASSION for GOOD MUSIC……….. It wasn’t until 1999 when DJKnyKn finally jumped sail with the DJ CULTURE. There he met and was mentored by one of the True Pioneers of the Dj Culture, Shawn Phillips. DJKnyKn was well on his way to persuing his Love and PASSION of MUSIC by playing Music to mass crowds at many Venues such as Bricks Club SLC, Shaggy’s SLC, Club W SLC, Club OMNI Provo, and Club Splash SLC Utah. DJKnyKn has also done Live Radio Mix Show’s with 94.9 KZHT and U92 The Beat of Salt Lake City Utah. He has done many opening/closing and tag-team sets with well known DJ’s and Producers………. He was the creator of “AZN INVASIAN” in Salt Lake City Utah which stood strong with highly packed Venues with a great number of followers and supporters. Stood aside to many Pioneers of the DJ Culture. Known for his ability to play any Style at any Venue. DJKnyKn’s one of the most upcoming Club DJ and has now made Los Angeles his new home. Since residing to Los Angeles DJKnyKn has played at many private parties and Venues such as Spundae Los Angeles, Club Circus Los Angeles, Joseph’s in Hollywood and The Forbidden City Hollywood.
