DJ Jomel started his career in 1997 with the advent of house music.Zip Bar HK was the emerging gay bar in the 90’s and he quickly became it’s resident.It was at this time he learned to mix and understand the dynamics of djing in a live audience.In addition
to the Zip gigs he did a residency at Club 97 to DJ at their once a month Tea Dance organized by the Horizons Organization. Fast forward to 2005 after some quiet years he emerged from obscurity and dj’ed for a private event at Bling(Hongkong) and there’s no stopping since then djing@ Bliss(Hongkong), Yellow Devil’s gay happy hour(Hongkong),Club JJ’s(New Years Eve 2006) Cinecitta Canon Launching Party(Hongkong) Goccia(Hongkong) Club Priori(Hongkong) Pure Fitness(Hongkong) Bed(Manila)
Cheung Sha Beach Party(Hongkong) Tantra’s Sinful Sundays(Hongkong) and recently Volume(Hongkong), Bed 2008(Manila), Evisu Bar(Hongkong) and Mink’s New Year’s Eve party(2007)Hot Boyz Pre Party Why Not Club 2008(Shenzhen)Juicy Pink and G.A.Y. Macau Party at Roka@Venetian 2008(Macau),Eros Armando Fabia Show at Peel Bar2008(Hongkong)Floatilla 2007 and 2008, and the fabulous launching of Tea Dance@Tivo. In 2008 he submitted his mix at GIRL Radio for the Gay Days DJ Contest and out of 120 aspirants was chosen to be on the top 15 finalists. His mix was played all over the USA that year. In 2010 he dj’ed at the fabulous Philippine Fashion Week Opening Party with top Philippine designers and models in attendance. He was also the official DJ at the Armando Fabia Now Show, a multi million peso production held at the spacious Palacio De Manila on April 23, 2010. He was also chosen to DJ at the Peoples Palace 70’s Anniversary Party held at the Greenbelt in Manila.
