GULIVERT Biography
Born in 1981, Gulivert has always been a music lover. Thanks to his mom, he quickly discovers motown, rock, classic music, soul, jazz, disco and next, thanks to his sisters and friends, punk, new wave, synthetic pop music and finally electronic music : house, big beat, techno.
In 1996, he gets in The Jailhouse (Achern, GER) and discovers night clubbing. Since then, he began to scour all the german clubs near Strasbourg : Oktan, V8, Parkaus, Reaktor, Universal Dog and the Tower in Bale (CH), improving his electronic music culture.
In 2000, a friend lends him for a few months two Technics MKII and enables him to start his own mixing. He starts to play house to techno music, defining progressively his own style. In 2001, Stephane, the Golden Gate owner, let him play his first DJ set in public. Then, he starts to scour all the bars and night clubs in Strasbourg, improving his technical abilities : Golden Gate, Axe Auto, Seven, Mighty Club, Living Room, Cafe des Anges, Passerelle, Divan, La Laiterie, Lab, Baobab, Gay Pride, Be You K Strasbourg, Nils and begins to play in Colmar, Mulhouse, Juan les Pins and Antibes (F).
Now, he is one of the rising DJs in Strasbourg, ready to punch you with his specific pumpin electro pounding sets. | read more
