Current resident on New Zealand’s coolest Radio station – Tractor Fm 88.2, Gareth’B (aka Glamourpuss) has been a well respected DJ in the UK house scene since 1994. Gareth’B’s easy style and ability to read the dance floor has given him the accolade of being a Dj’s Dj and never fails to excite and add adventure to his mixes.

One of the founders of the UK’s wibble’it nights and original Crossway’s residents, Gareth’B has mixed alongside and supported some of the great Dj’s in the world.

Gareth’B takes his roots from soul and funk and from some best Dj’s that are still around such as Jim “shaft” Ryan – (Miss moneypenny’s founder and CEO), his current influences are with Mark Mendes, Mark Knight, Dirty South & Ted Nilsson, given a distinct electro base punch to his mixes.

Being right in the action is Gareth’Bs style, mixing as close the the danceflor as possible “feeling the energy from the floor feeds my mixing, I play my best when I’m in the thick of the action”.

Since leaving the UK in 2001, Gareth’B has settled into the cool groove of New Zealand, setting up residence in the coolest surf town on the planet – Raglan, pumping out his wicked house sessions on “Gareth’B Saturday night mash” on Tractor Fm 88.2 every Saturday Night and a residency at the YOT club.

2009 has seen Gareth’B re-emerge on the world club circuit, featuring guest spots on radio and festivals around the Pacific and Europe, keep an eye out for his name and don’t miss an experience to be remembered.

“The studio is a main focus for me of late, I’m really excited for the direction of dance music, no more fixed genres”. A release of a 4 track ep is due for release in August 2009 on Catnip Records, tracks will be available through most on-line distributors.
