Biography
Language: EnglishCurrenly the youngest dj/producer in Puerto Rico (at the age of 16) is increasing his skills and struggling with school at the same time. At a young age Gilfredy (FRED VEDO) showed great affinity towards music. At 11 he started playing bass and in a short time was considered skilled with this instrument; He later on started playing guitar( because of his father’ influence) but he instantly fell in love with the instrument. But it was not until the age of 15 that he was introduced into the world of electronic music. After gaining enough backround in this genre he decided to make his own work and began to use computer programs to achieve his goals. He is currently working on his first album “An evening exotik” and hopefully it will be completed successfully. He started out as a listener of electronic music,but soon after decided to express his own ideas and found the means to do so.He plays at local parties but has not made it to the big scene on the island but his self-determination and drive to improve has no limits. His work strives for originality; his musical influences sometimes differ from those in the electronic world but that is what makes his work different from the work of others. His backround on music is: guitar players, rock bands , jazz and blues. But his inspiration as for electronic music derives from these previously mentioned genres including the work of popular dj’ such as Tiesto and Carl Cox. He is constantly learning but that is part of the process and he is a quick learner so this won’t set him back significantly.His experience as a dj is not that of an experienced one but he is already planning some important gigs that will let him master the art of clubbing.
