Biography
Language: EnglishPlaying drums since the age of four, starting piano-playing at 16, the feel for rhythm in his blood since his childhood was only one reason to make a name for himself as „Florian Hereno a.k.a. F. Hereno“ in the house scene of Austria.
Since discovering the fascination of electronic music he started deejaying in December 2004. Florian Hereno enthuses the audience with his house-sets at numerous events in and around Graz (Dom im Berg and many others) as well as radio guest mixes on the well know “In Bed With Space” radio-show in Germany and play.fm and. Not only the perfect Ibiza-style but his love for live-mash-ups and bootlegs are his absolute strength which lots of guests remember as catchy tunes. With his technical brilliant style (crazy enough to play on 4 CDJ 1000 Mk3s!) he causes sensation at the decks where many international deejays were astonished by his technical qualities! From december 2007 on, Florian Hereno joined the team of hedonist events. He has been resident there and also got responsible for overall organizing, techniques and artist-support-service. He got involved in a project named „hedonist deejays“ – a booking-agency for national and international acts.
In 2008 he performed for the first time at Movida Corona, the biggest Dj-Competition in Europe. He first won the local qualification, passed the Austrian National Final finishing first place and finally finished second place at the Movida Corona World Final!So he got the opportunity to perform in 2009 as guest-deejay at Pacha Ibiza and Madrid.
In late 2008 he started remixing for Pacha Recordings and is currently working on own productions and new remixes for different artists on different labels like Pacha Rec., Housesession, Housevision, Clubland,…
