DSM Biography
DJ DSM (aka Nick), founder of Subterrania and Phunk-E-Elements resident DJ, gained his first exposure to electronic music while living in Europe (‘89-95) but he didn’t truly appreciate it until he returned to the States. After returning he realized he needed more beats in his life and went searching in import sections of record stores to get a few of the artists he still remembered hearing while in Europe… but he didn’t strike gold until he discovered the Colorado electronic music scene in 1998.
