DRU Biography
While still early into his career, Dru was just your average DJ that started off doing the mobile DJ thing. He met this group of DJ’s and landed his first gig called TNT (Thursday Night Throwdowns). These gigs were just for high schools but it gave him a chance to get some exposure for it being his first time. Later that year he DJed at at few events called battlegrounds. These events included most of the San Antonio rave scene and some of the baddest DJ’s in San Antonio. These events gave him a rush and also influenced him to do this for as long as he can. He landed a Sunday night residency at graham central station playing all the old school hip hop and reggeaton. These events were so much different than the electronic music he was playing. He decided to stop for awhile to continue his education. Soon after he came back from college, he started off the 2005 summer with a bang. He got invited to play in Austin, Corpus Christi, Manor Texas opening up for DJ’s such as Rik Stylz, DJ Ron E, and DJ Vicious Vic. Dru has currently has been invited to DJ at ICE in Las Vegas to finish out the night for Tiesto and Judge Jules. Dru has recently released his new CD called “A Trip on XTC”.
