DIZZ Biography
Language: EnglishDenny aka DJ Dizz grew up in the suburbs of Winnipeg. Being exposed to electronic music at the early age of 15 gave him a head start on the underground party scene. Putting on his first shaker along side local dj Lil Phil back in 1995 opened his eyes to DJing. Spinning everything from house, tribal, techno and trance Dizz is no stranger to rocking dance floors all around Canada. He has played alongside many big names such as: Ronski Speed, Marco V, BK, Patrick DSP, Mark EG, Brisk, Johan Gielen, DJ Brian, Chris Liberator, Chris C & Madam Zu, just to name a few. Formerly holding residencies at some of Winnipeg’s most renowned underground clubs such as: Eternal @ Zanzy’s, Unite @ The Opium, DiG @ The Shoe, the Colloseum’s Neon Nights & Essential Wednesday’s @ The Vibe. He has also hosted radio broadcasts, UnderGround Radio 91.1FM & BlizzardRadio – Dinner & A Mix alongside partner in crime DJ Khemlab.
More currently Dizz is one of the founding members of Winnipeg’s own Crown Productions & is 1 half of the tag duo “Earthbase 1”. Dizz also holds a residency at Winnipeg’s “Pure @ Night” Afterhours at the Pure Event Center.
