Biography
Language: EnglishDante was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. It was here that he developed his passion for House music. From a very young age, his Italian roots drew him to the sound of electronic dance music. At the age of 16, under the alias DJ Dansta, he started Phatbass.ca with his long time partner, DJ Almixx. After taking a 3 year break from the world of music to focus on his university studies, he returned to his musical passion under the alias Dante Ellis in late 2006.
In early 2007, DJ Dante Ellis landed his first club performance in the city of Montreal. Over the past year, he has played in a dozen clubs across the city and currently holds two prestigious weekly residencies. Although Dante can play a wide variety of House derivatives, his strongest attribute is his ability to read his crowd and follow through with high flow energy sets.
