CMG Biography
Language: EnglishChris Guild (aka DJ CMG) has been on the turntables for over 10 years, but his recent success over the last three years has created a well-built reputation making his name a buzzword on the local club scene. CMG now resides in Lansing, MI where he became resident DJ at Lansing’s high class nightclub, Club X-Cel.
Spinning both cd’s and vinyl, CMG gets special attention for his seamless, artistic and smooth transitional style.
His sound is an energetic and high-octane blend of aggressive house, tribal beats, funky Trance and big room anthems fused together with top remixes and original beats to create an intense uplifting energy.
Each performance is unique as CMG’s talent for connecting with the dance floor changes with each venue. He does, however, maintain consistency through his successful objective of delivering a “fun, intense, and down right funky groove” throughout each performance.
Past residencies include Club Spiral, Club Paradise, and Harpers Downtown all in Lansing and Rumors in Grand Rapids.
DJ CMG has performed with many of the worlds top DJ’s such as Terry Mullan, Angel Alanis, Halo, and Detroit legends Eclipse, Magda and Terrence Parker.
Everything from Deep Chicago cuts to todayâs hottest remixes house tends to control the flow his mix. Some of the artists/producers youâll hear coming from the speakers when CMG is on are Armand Van Helden, DJ Sneak, Benassi Bros., Hoxton Whores, Audio Bulleys and many more.
