CLAIRVO Biography
Language: EnglishDue to his obsession with music and remarkable collection of audiocassettes his friends decided to try him as a rock and grunge dj in the local Budapest club named Guillotine back in 1996.
Since that time so far led him to play his own style of music at radio shows, which means the blend of nujazz, trip-hop, hip-hop, downtempo and lounge moods.
Having put in the last seven years with making bookings and promoting events with his crew called MUSTBEAT, he also could experience playing dirt-breakz, hip-breakz, funk-breaks, breakbeat and big-beat sets during many gigs and parties with the likes of Dj Jesse [Swerve Concepts] (UK), Sampo [Lifesaver Records] (FIN), Dj Zylem [Fuesd BeatsJ (UK), Leizaboy [AnonimTM] (RO), John Kennedy [Grand Central] (UK), Juha Ponteva [Nine2Five] (F), Lee Coombs [Finger Licikin] (UK), DJ Genki [Exogenic Breaks] (FIN), SuperStyle Deluxe [Payback Project] (UK), DJ Kinski [Switchstance] (G), Mr. Bird [Frequent Soundz] (UK), Basement Freakrs [Goodgroove, South City] (GR), Al Haca Soundsystem [G Stone] (A) and Ancient Astronauts [Switchstance] (G) so far.
He’s running the radio show Jazz Drive on PULSE RADIO and has also been running a weekly event for more than five years now under the same name at Caf Eklektika, Budapest.
He also takes part in the radio show called MANAMANA at TILOS RADIO FM90.3 that is broadcast each Thursday from 14:00 GMT.
Besides all of that, he’s publishing English and Hungarian music reviews at ANTROPOS online culture magazine, at PULSE RADIO and in GOOD VIBRATIONS magazine.
