CHRIS MASON Biography
Chris began his journey into electronic music starting in the summer of 1996. The Florida breakbeat scene was in full swing, but it wasn’t long before Chris discovered what quality electronic music really was. Despite Florida being ruled by breakbeats, Chris took to the sounds of progressive house, deep house, and techno. He decided to make the move from party kid to dj (like countless others), but quickly became frustrated with the lack of quality music coming from Florida. For the next couple of years, djing was put aside and Chris made the leap into music production. After spending countless hours hiding in his studio, he learned the craft of dance music production. Now known by his circle of friends as the studio whiz, Chris is eager to spread the knowledge he’s gained over the years working the studio. He hopes to one day put Florida on the map as a city with its own sound. A place where people look to find quality, world-class electronic music. Chris is now beginning to break his way back into the world of djing, but now with a drive and motivation to leave his mark on electronic music. Its now 2007, and Chris can regularly be found playing out and about in the Tampa/St Petersburg area. Keep your ears open for Chris in the future. | read more
