CANDYLOVERS
Biography
Language: EnglishActually all started at 1996 when we both meet each other at school. Our same taste of music connected us from the beginning. Many years we celebrated together on several events to various styles of electronic music.
In 2001 Sascha discovered his passion for being a DJ at turntableing by himself. So he bought two record players and started to peal his neighbourhood. At christmas 2002 Matthias got infected as he saw the two record players by visiting Sascha one time. After he tried once mixing he couldn`t leave his fingers from it all night long. So it happened ? 6 months later Matthias saved enough money also and got himself all the technical things he needed for being a DJ and besides he started collecting records.
Although Matthias is working in Mannheim/Heidelberg (one city in Germany which is pretty far away from Leipzig like 500 kilometers) we always kept in touch – so it happened that we played together at a self – organized christmas celebration in 2003 for the first time.
After a couple of small private events, meanwhile 10 years of friendship and an uncountable numbers of club – experience at the dancefloors all over Germany – 2005 we joined forces officially as “Candylovers” and had to achieve us at the DJ – Contest at Soundgarden Leipzig (Germany) against 23 other teams.

Attitude:
“We love it when the audience really heavy celebrates. If you are not completely worked out and happy after we played we made something wrong.”
