Biography
Language: EnglishDJ Bravo a native of Queens, New York has been involved with the Hip-hop culture for over 12 years. Growing up in New York City during the eighties and nineties Hip-hop was all around him. Fascinated by the culture he quickly took to it and began participating in many of the elements. He started with break dancing and soon made the natural progression into becoming a graffiti artist and D.J. Influenced by such DJ greats like Grand Master Flash, Cash Money and Jazzy Jeff, he was instantly fascinated by the way DJs controlled and manipulated music.
A respected Hip-hop DJ, he has been mixing all across the globe in places like the U.S, Europe, Brazil, Hong Kong and Hawaii
After several years of Djing DJ Bravo eventually decided to take his love for music one step further, and begin his own production. Starting from humble beginnings and limited equipment he rapidly grew a reputation of having the hottest beats amongst his neighborhood circle. Slowly building confidence in his ability to make good music, he entered several local beat battles and came out victorious in many. After winning a battle hosted by acclaimed producer Da RockWilder he began getting offers from artist to purchase his beats and instrumentals. Working with many noted underground producers such as Maja Flav, Matt Fingaz, Dstruction and being in the studio alongside some of Hip-hops most legendary producers like the Alchemist and The Heat Makerz all helped Bravo mold his own style of raw hip-hop. He continues to this day to live his passion for Hip-Hop and make music which is always pure and never watered down.
Currently residing in Asia DJ Bravo can be found spinning in some of Hong Kongs hottest clubs and Discos. On a mission to help the growth of the hip-hop culture in Hong Kong, he has plans to stick around for awhile.
