BIZZY Biography
Language: EnglishDJ Bizzy became a member of the Umek’s Absense team (which later turned into Consumer Recreation) in 1995. Together with his frequent DJ partner Dojaja and the main figure of the Slovenian techno scene, DJ Umek, they developed a distinctive Consumer Recreation DJ and production sound. Together they took Slovene clubs and discotheques by storm. They performed at all major techno parties and raves (Ambasada Gavioli, Space Night,Taotech, Consumer Recreation I & II, Meet Me, Sinustry…) DJ Bizzy has played on many major parties in Slovenia and abroad Netherland (Mazzo), Germany, Austria, Croatia, former YU, BiH,…, with the likes of Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, The Advent, C. Young, Westbam, Oliver Ho, Misjah, Marco Carola, Chris Liebing, DJ Rush, Space DJZ, Christian Smith, Inigo Kennedy and many more.
In 1998, Bizzy started producing his own music. He is collaborating with DJ Dojaja under the production/DJ alliance Temponauta and plays with him in the first Slovenian house live act Rotor as well. Cofounder of Chilli space meetings. Chilli space is idea for first Slovenian after party chilling movement. Bizzy is also part of a new rising electro project Ouroborots (wich is usually performed as live act), with upcoming CD LP Fukunft release on Slovenian records label Tehnika, and part of new rising project Dataminions with upcoming release on Billy nasty’s electro label Electrix. Bizzy is also owner of a Temponautika records label. His sets are an interesting mixture of different styles of underground techno, spiced up more and more by old skool and nu skool electro. He plays on three turntables with FX.
