ANDREA FRISINA Biography

ANDREA FRISINA (degree in Audio Engineering, Midi Programming and Sound Design; owner of Gate Null Recordings, A&R of Spinne Records) was born on 14th February 1989, when he was 5 years old, he started to play piano and to study music. When he was 10 years old, he started to listen to electronic music. The first time that he played was in a father’s friend club in the east coast, he was 14 years old and it was a live set just with pads, drum-machines and sequencers. When he was 15 years old, he wanted to start the dj career, he worked in clubs and events in the capital like DELIRIUM, becoming immediately one of the leaders. One year later he started the producer activity with his uncle’s help (famous Roman producer). Today he plays in the best clubs in Rome, Italy and Europe, he was the dj-resident at “Alien Club” (Rome) and at “L’Isola Club” (Argentario, Grosseto). He shared a project with a Spanish organization (COSTA BRAVA SOUND), exporting his music and his sound, he was very successful in Spain (mainly in Catalonia), in Andorra and in south of France. Voted as “the best europe young dj” by “La Noche de Club” magazine. On May 2009 was requested by MATTINEE D’ITALIA (the biggest event in Itlay supported by MATINEE GROUP). On July 2009 VENUS RECORDS (SMILAX) relased his first album MAGNITUDO. On September 2009 was requested by TECHNOMAFIA and DARKSTAR. On October SPIKE RECORDS inserts CADAQUÉS in EXPLICITY HOUSE COMPILATION VOL 1, on December 2009 TECHNOMAFIA releases 2 Ep (MIRACLE, MM FF) and DARKSTAR the single DIRTY BEAT. On January 2010 GARDENIA RECORDS inserts CADAQUÉS in MINIMAL MATIK COMPILATION VOL 2. On March 2010 ACID 80 RECORDS releases, on its compilation, the single MADRUGADA. Once more on March 2010 NO-LOGIK RECORDS and NETSWORK release CURITIBA EP including the singles CIAK, BASE OFF and BONSOIR, he performs at WMC 2010 in Miami (Florida – Usa). On May 2010 ACID 80 RECORDS releases MEMORY EP including the singles LAGOS, DAKAR, CORDOBA, GRANADA, TANGERI, PLASTIK SYMPHONY, DANZICA. On June 2010 ACID 80 RECORDS releases MY DANCER EP including the singles FUNK DA GROUND, CAROL, DANCER CONTROL. Once more on June 2010 FISH RECORDS releases the single MARRAKECH IMPRESSION. On July 2010 VOODOO RECORDS releases his Remix of the single ETNA. On August 2010 ACID 80 RECORDS releases the single PEDRO PEDRO. Once more on August 2010 HAMBURG AUFNAHMEN releases the single MAYAN PROPHECY. After two days FEVER SOUND RECORDS releases his Remix of the single BIG TUNNEL and at the end of the month FISH RECORDS releases his Remix of the single NIGHT GAMES. During September 2010 FHD RECORDS releases the single IT WAS THE BEE and SELECTED RECORDS releases his Remix of BEYOND THE WALL, at the end of the month FISH RECORDS releases the single EL MOLINO. During October 2010 MAFIA RECORDS releases his Remix of the single GOLDEN KUSH. At the end of the month GRAMOLA RECORDS releases the single PRIMERA CALLE, ZIRBEN MUSIC releases his Remix of the single CALOR DE VERANO and SPINNE RECORDS releases the single PARA ELLA. During November 2010 FLAT BELLY RECORDINGS releases his Remix of the single LOLITA, HAMBURG AUFNAHMEN releases THE SECRET SOCIETIES EP including the singles THE SECRET SOCIETIES and EL CUBANO, SPINNE RECORDS releases his Remix of the single POMPOLO, CUTOFF RECORDINGS releases the single I FEEL LOVE, VOODOO RECORDS releases the single OLANDESINA.
