Biography
Language: EnglishIn little more than two years Ali has taken the London and Auckland clubbing scene by storm and is currently emerging as one of New Zealands most promising hard house talents.
The year 2002 saw Ali appearing regularly at numerous top Hertfordshire nights for his own event Cupid including Club Pulse and club Vogue, culminating with his first weekly residencies when Cupid moved to the Mooch and The Square.
In 2003 Alis appearances at Cupid and other notable nights including Phuture @ Fire, rush @ 414 and Ground Zero @ Spotted Dog. Cupid also moved to a newer and bigger location at Rpmk in Milton Keynes and was voted the 3rd and 4th most looked forward to events to go to in October and November 2003 in Dj Mag. Ali played alongside pioneers of our scene like Graham Gold, Brandon Block and Carl Nicholson as well as stars of today including Miss Behavin’, Zana Mills, Danny Gilligan, Simon Rutherford, Paul Reeves, Little Miss Loud, Jana, Donna Birt and Nikki S.
Since moving to Auckland in December 2003 Ali’s infectious blend of hard house, hard dance and Nu NRG and the ability to give the audience what they want have made him one of Aucklands most promising djs. He had played out around the city including Decadances’s 3rd Birthday, Transformation, Nukleuz Presents Vinylgroover and Thors Hammer, coupling alongside his weekly radio show every Sunday 7pm – 9pm on twisted107.7fm called Stormin Sundaze. Ali has also won two Dj competitions with R’totos Cafe, Takapuna and UpFm.
