ALEX MASTINI Biography
Language: EnglishAlex Mastini dj / producer: Detroit Techno with influences from Electro, Progressive, Break Beat, Dub. Each set is different from the other. He manages to create different sounds using just three turntables, an effect machine and a loop machine.
His musical influences range from the techno sounds of producers such as Derrick May & Juan Atkins and the new wave of Cabaret Voltaire, to the avant-garde electronic sounds of Carl Craig, Plump Djs, Playgroup and Metro Area. But never forget the passion from Herbie Hancockâs & Marvin Gayeâs jazz and soul, to the deep sounds of Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Blaze, Osunlade & Masters At Work. He succeeds in creating alternative, high quality dj sets which are always unique. His music has firm roots in the past but is always evolving, looking to the future.
Alex is an eclectic DJ who likes to experiment and innovate thanks to his vast musical knowledge and more than 13 years of experience, working in clubs and radios.
Radio shows Weekly âSELECT RELOADEDâ the recordings of his dj sets are aired worldwide via internet by DFR radio (Brno and Prague, Czech Republic), and every weekend is aired on Radio Verona.
