Ahter Sonmez is a promising DBS DJ/Producer from Istanbul-Turkey specializing in Uplifting Trance genre.

Ahter has been in trance scene since 1998. Having also started electronic music production in 1998, Ahter has been both producing and teaching production in several music schools.

The amount of knowledge and solid understanding of the concepts in electronic music that he’d gained from music production, Ahter Sonmez decided to start DJing in the beginning of 2005. He claims, the biggest reason that lay behind in such a decision was to promote his productions and share his emotions hidden in the melodies of his uplifting trance sound with bigger crowds.

Ahter presents his weekly radio show “NOStalgia” every Saturday between 00:00-02:00 on Radio DBS.
